After the words of Giuseppe Conte, and of the minister of sport Spadafora, there is still uncertainty in regards to when football will return in Italy. There was an opening for clubs to begin training on May 18th, but it will all depend on the number of cases still in the country at that time. Lazio's director of sport, Igli Tare, spoke to Lazio Style Radio about the situation, saying: "We are surprised. We have respected the decisions of the Government and we thought that May 4th would be the day we could restart. We feel discriminated. The Prime Minister is not aiming to help football, and sports has been stopped for two months. We are all sacrificing everything, but something isn't right."

 

이탈리아의 총리 쥬세페 콩테와 체육부장관 스파다포라에 성명 이후에도 이탈리아에 축구가 언제쯤 재개될 지 확실한 내용은 아직 나오지 않았습니다. 5월 18일부터 팀 훈련이 시작 될것이라고는 했지만 그 시기에 나라에 상황에 따라 이는 바뀔 가능성이 있습니다. 라치오의 단장인 이글리 타레는 Lazio Style Radio에서 이와 같은 상황에 이야기를 꺼냈습니다. “우리는 굉장히 놀랐죠. 우리는 정부의 결정에 대해 존중해왔고 사실 우린 5월 4일을 시즌이 재개 될 시점으로 생각하고 있었거든요. 우리는 굉장히 차별받고 있다고 생각됩니다. 콩테 총리는 축구를 위하는데에 전혀 생각을 하지 않고 있어요 스포츠가 2달동안 중단됐는데도요. 우리는 모든 것에 대해 수긍하지만 몇몇 일들은 올바르지 않다고 생각되네요.”

"Football has an important social role for the country. We don't want to reopen the stadiums and we don't feel penalized becaused we are fighting for the Scudetto, but to finish the season would be something good for the system. In other countries they are going towards a reopening and they have created a protocol that must be closely followed. To win the scudetto is a huge thing to say with 12 games left. But we need to finish the season for the good of the Italian football system. The big clubs, Juve, Milan and Inter, they must take a position. The moment to take this sort of action out of necessity has arrived."

 

“축구는 이 나라에서 중요한 사회적 역할을 하고 있죠. 우리는 경기장을 개방하기를 원하는 것도 아니고 스쿠데토를 얻기 위해 싸우는 것이 처벌을 받아야 할 것도 아니라고 보죠. 하지만 시즌을 온전하게 끝내는 것이 시스템을 위해 옳죠. 다른 나라에서 스포츠들이 재개를 앞두고 있고 그들은 이를 위해 반드시 따라야만 하는 협약을 만들었죠. 12경기가 남은 시점에서 스쿠데토를 따내는 것은 굉장히 큰 의미가 있다고 말할 수있습니다. 하지만 이와 별개로도 이탈리아 축구 시스템의 안정을 위해 우리는 시즌을 완전하게 끝내야만 하죠. 유벤투스, AC밀란 그리고 인터밀란 같은 빅 클럽들은 그들의 자리를 사수해야만 해요. 이런 일련의 행동을 해야 할 필요가 없는 순간인거죠.”
